Why Backward Counting Gets Tricky

Longer look-back periods can cross months, years and leap days. The calculator uses actual calendar dates rather than estimating every month as 30 days.

Days Ago vs. Date Difference

Use Days Ago when the reference point is today or another start date and you want to move backward. Use Days Between Dates when you already know both dates and want the length of the interval.
