How Months From Today Works

This calculator moves by calendar months rather than assuming every month has 30 days. If the starting day does not exist in the target month, the result is clamped to the final valid day of that month.

End-of-Month Example

Adding one month to January 31 returns the final day of February—February 28 in a common year or February 29 in a leap year—instead of spilling into March.

Months vs. Fixed Days

One month can contain 28, 29, 30 or 31 days. If a deadline says “60 days,” use a day-based calculation; if it says “2 months,” use calendar months.

Common Uses

Calendar-month calculations are useful for renewals, subscriptions, appointments, billing cycles and longer-term plans defined by months rather than a fixed day count.
